We recognise that all students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with special educational needs, benefit from a consistent, structured and supportive learning environment. Central to our approach are our defined Teacher Habits, which are demonstrated in every lesson. These habits encapsulate the essential practices that our teachers consistently employ to create an effective learning atmosphere. Our teaching strategies are explicitly outlined, detailing what both teachers and students should be doing at each stage of the learning process. Each strategy is accompanied by a rationale, explaining why we implement it. Staff training covers and revisits the strategies throughout the teaching year.
