At North Walsham High School we have a very simple and clear approach to behaviour. This approach is embodied by “The North Walsham Way”

The North Walsham Way 23-26

This document informs all that we do at the school and staff and students regularly revisit the document. The purpose of the document is as follows: 

• Consistency – this will ensure all issues are dealt with in the same way regardless of staff member, subject or time of the day/year. 
• Reduce cognitive load – students do not need to think about how to behave or act around the school and instead they can focus on their learning. 
• Ensure excellent behaviour – the document summarises our high, clear and consistent expectations that ensure excellent behaviour
