Uniform
We place great emphasis on our students looking smart and dressed professionally as it builds self-esteem and encourages a learning environment where everyone strives for excellence. Our uniform is practical and smart and we expect all of our students to wear it with pride and excellence on school premises and on their way to and from school. To maintain uniform standards, students' uniforms are checked each day in tutor time.
School uniform:

Burgundy blazer with the NWHS badge.

Plain blue blouse or shirt with collar

Plain black tailored trousers (no jeans) or plain black tailored skirt (knee length, not jersey/lycra).

NWHS tie.

Black tights or black socks.

Plain black leather shoes (no trainers, sling backs, high heels, mules or pumps).

Plain black tailored shorts.
Release note:
- Non-school jumpers or hoodies are not part of school uniform.
- Students may wear 1 watch, 3 rings and 1 bracelet.
- Make up should be discreet with no acrylic/gel nails.
- No nail varnish.
- No facial piercings.
PE uniform:
- NWHS maroon polo shirt.
- Plain black t shirt.
- Plain black shorts.
- Sport socks.
- Sport trainers.
- Plain black tracksuit top, jumper or fleece.
- Plain black tracksuit bottoms.
- Football boots; Shin pads; Gum shield (when appropriate).
