Computing
The vision of the Computing Department at North Walsham High School is to provide quality education in Computing and Computer Science to prepare our students to either pursue various courses in Computing after GCSE or develop useful digital skills needed for various career choices. The curriculum is grounded in the fundamental principles of computing and prepares our students to apply these principles creatively, responsibly, and independently. The Department utilizes available online and off-line resources and teaching principles to impart computing knowledge fit for the 21st century. Additionally, the comprehensive computing curriculum will develop students’ verbal and written communication skills and instil a desire to pursue a lifelong learning in technological education.
