Art Club

A chance for pupils to improve their art skills in a range of mediums, this can be used as GCSE and homework catch up too!
Debate Club

A chance to discuss, debate and engage with current affairs.
F1 in Schools
Staff: Miss Hassall and Mr Robson Room: T1/2
BY APPLICATION ONLY - This is a fantastic opportunity for pupils in Year 7-9 to create and run their own F1 team. They will sample different career 'job' roles such as Team Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Design Engineer, Graphic Designer and Resource Manager. The challenge aims to change perceptions of science, technology, engineering and maths by creating a fun and exciting learning environment for young people. It will inspire students to use IT to learn about physics, aerodynamics, design, manufacture, branding, graphics, sponsorship, marketing, leadership/teamwork, media skills and financial strategy, and apply them in a practical, imaginative, competitive and exciting way.

Home Learning Club

A chance to do your Home Learning before you get home with support from staff.

Performing Arts Club

Performing arts club is for all Year 7's and 8's with the idea to promote preforming arts in the school. We hope to put on a production at the end of the year.
Robotics club

Coding of robots based on the Arduino control board
Textiles Certificate
Staff: Miss Stannard Room: Textiles Room
Year 9s have the chance to gain a level 1 textiles qualification. Working with materials, sewing, pattern cutting, fashion design and illustration.
Women’s Society

Students get together to discuss any issues they have had during the week or things they have seen in the news linking to equality. Everyone is welcome!
