Half term 1 (7 weeks)

Number 1 - Calenders, time, ordering numbers, 4 rules (+-*/), directed numbers

Shape 1 - Perimemter, area and volume (mostly by counting)

Shape 2 - types of angles, compass directions, measuring and drawing angles, angle facts

Half term 2 (7.5 weeks)

Number 2 - Calculating with decimal number including multiplying and dividing by 10, 100, 1000

Number 3 - Squares, cubes, roots, BIDMAS, long division and converting between metric units

Data 1 - Averages and statistical diagrams

Half term 3 (6 weeks)

Algebra 1 - Sequences - finding the next value, function machines, square numbers and triangle numbers

Algebra 2 - Forming expressions, simplifying expressions and solving simple equations

Number 4 - Fractions - equivalent, simplifying, comparing, add and subtract

Half term 4 (5.5 weeks)

Algebra 3 - coordinates, linear graphs, real life graphs

Number 5 - Fractions, decimals and percentages

Data 2 - probability scale

Half term 5 (5 weeks)

Shape 3 - symmetry and tessellation

Algebra 4 - Solving linear equations using a full written method

Data 3 - Interpreting pie charts and averages

Shape 3 - 3d shapes - Faces, edges, vertices, nets
