Headteachers Letter 03.11.20
Dear parents and carers,
I hope this email finds you well. I had planned to construct a Headteacher’s letter this week to give you all an update on our future plans for school improvement and respond to the feedback from the parental survey.
However, given the announcement regarding lockdown given on Saturday I feel this letter can wait.
As such I wanted to write to you today regarding the lockdown. At this current time of writing there has been no updated guidance for schools and thus we are operating in the same way as before half term (except for a slight change to lunchtime routines). There is currently a lot of rumour and conjecture in the press about what may or may not happen with schools during the lockdown and I fully appreciate this can be
unsettling. Therefore, please be rest assured that as soon as guidance changes we will communicate with you all.
I am unsure of exactly what the government may ask schools to do (or even stop doing) over the coming weeks but please know that we will work our hardest to ensure we support all of our students, staff and families.
If you have any concerns or worries, please do feel free to get in contact.
Mr James Gosden
