Message from NWHS Governors

Posted on: 9th March 2018

We wrote to you last term about our plans to convert the school to become an academy. At that time we were in discussions with the Yare Education Trust. During the consultation we concluded that this would not be the best option for NWHS, so we have continued to look at other potential partners for the school.

We are pleased to confirm that discussions are now well under way about the possibility of NWHS joining the Sapientia Education Trust. The Sapientia Education Trust was formed by Wymondham College and includes Wymondham College, Stradbroke High School and 7 primary schools, with other high schools in the process of joining.

Initial discussions have proceeded well and we will keep everyone updated as discussions progress. Further discussions will be had at the next Parents' Forum on Wednesday 21st March at 6.30pm.
