Warhammer Club takes part in school’s Tournament
Students from North Walsham High School’s Warhammer Club took part in a local schools tournament on Sunday 5th March.
Gianni Whitwood, Gethin Clark, Louis Lunn and Jayson Allen (all Year 10) brought their armies, that they assembled and painted themselves, to battle Bungay High School.
In true warrior style, the team won 6 of the 12 games and drew one. However, the aim of the game is to score points and the team with the highest points goes through to the finals held at Warhammer World in Nottingham. Unfortunately our lads scored 195 points to Bungay’s 235.
The good news on the day was Louis Lunn being awarded Most Sportsmanship Award and also to find out that 195 points makes North Walsham High School’s team the joint second highest scoring team in the history of Warhammer, Norwich!
There is much to be celebrated and the team has done much better than last year, so we are hoping for victory at next year’s tournament!
If you want to learn what Warhammer is all about, join in with our club every Tuesday, 3pm – 4.30pm, in the Art Rooms.
