Super Faculty Leader of Technology and Creative Arts and Whole School Lead for Vulnerable Groups - L 4 – 7 (Negotiable)

North Walsham High School has a vacancy for a Super Faculty Lead of the Technology and Creative Arts Department who would also have a whole school responsibility leading on the provision and outcomes of Vulnerable Groups.

This is a big role. Our successful candidate will have a key focus on leading a Technology and Creative Arts Department to complement & lead our existing team; this is an additional position and a truly fantastic opportunity which will significantly strengthen our existing Improvement Team even further.

If, as an existing second in department, a middle leader; an Assistant Headteacher or an outstanding teacher with huge leadership potential you have an outstanding track record of success as both a teacher and a leader, we want to hear from you. You must be able to show previous leadership success of improved outcomes.

Because we place enormous store in the importance of this role we will look to assign the post as an Associate Assistant Head Teacher for the right candidate.

You will support and advise teachers, subject leaders and senior staff across our school with a focus on raising achievement for Disadvantaged Pupils, Boys and Higher Prior Attaining Pupils initially. You will also work with your department to improve the outcomes for all subjects under your leadership. The role will require a practitioner with a diverse skillset, exceptional knowledge of improving student outcomes and first-rate leadership skills.  In return, we will provide a highly innovative and largely unique role that will give you very high levels of job satisfaction working across a whole school.
